A day we  all feel will never come. With a very heavy heart this is a tribute to Patricia Cartmell..(Little Pat/Patsy-  and am sure many other names in between ;-) - never backwards in coming forwards ) ...  A loyal and loving  Wife, the most stern but amazing Mum , a doting Sister and proud Aunty to our Australian family, and a loving Nanna to Ellie and Bella. Not to forget a   loyal and  best friend to Sandra . Patsy  was very much loved and will always be remembered for the good, but also  her legendary "Not mincing her words ". She was the  most resilient, courageous and brave woman we have ever been blessed to know!  We are so incredibly lucky .  She was definitely one of a kind! Not only did she break the  mould on the day she was born,  she smashed it and certainly owned it !! 

You have defied all science with your health and powered on through like the stubborn trooper you have always been. That is testament to the loving and caring person you really are. You will be missed by so many , but not as much as the three amigos you left behind, but be assured we will all look after each other. 

We miss you, and things will never be the same. This is not a goodbye, this is a "Till we meet again"  We truly love and will always love you xxx You have done us all proud . Be assured Dad will be looked after.

Following on from the cremation of our Mum, and beloved wife to our Dad we will be heading on to The Eagle and Child in Leyland where you are all invited to raise a glass in her honour and memory .My Dad would be grateful and humbled if you could stop by .
